Can anyone recommend a good basketball simulation software that has players from different eras?

if you don't mind DOS there's a free download at www.bballsports.com (the simulation link)...

there's a number of other really good sims out there, depends if you're looking for graphics (EA stuff, NBA live, etc), or more stats based text sims. on the text based sims one i really liked was vintage pro basketball by thomas mink:

www.tmsportsgames.com

lance haffner had a sim at one time too (looks like he still does):

www.lhgames.com

others include:

www.cactusdevelopment.com

www.strat-o-matic.com

http://www.download.com/3150-7442_4-0.html (lists a few of them)

Hey, thanx for the links man. Yeah, I'm looking more for text based stats sims. Something like if I take out KG from the current timberwolves and replace him with a prime Bill Russell how many more wins would they get. Like what Out of Park Developments did for baseball and boxing. That sort of thing. I'll check it out. Thanx again.
