Sorry if this is a dumb question.

Is there a place I can find the expected points by shot range? For example, a corner three point attempt has an expected point value of 1.4 points and so on...

I know of this post but it doesn't have the number values:http://www.countthebasket.com/blog/2008/03/27/where-players-take-and-make-shots/

Any help would be appreciated, thank you

So you want the league eFG% for these locations over the course of the season? (This is because 2 x eFG% gives you points per shot attempt.)

It was a survey on unknown size but you could work with this
http://www.82games.com/locations.htm and convert the 3 pt shot data to eFG%. TS% could be backed into. Overall offensive efficiency is already there.
