I read it. Modest relationship for a few stats and longevity. Sounds alright. For guards importance of floor game and scoring is not earthshaking. For forward the findings of greater importance of shooting quality and passing probably make sense for longevity. Center position being less predictable sounds right. |

I am having some trouble reading the tables. The first column presumably gives the regression coefficients, with the second column giving the standard errors. In Table 1, the coefficient for TPP is more than 60 times its standard error, yet this variable is not significant? Of course the tables (if correct) give the value of each variable in the presence of all of the other variables, not the value of each variable in some absolute sense. |
