I've lost all of my bookmarks, and I'm trying to find this site that I used to visit.

Sorry that I can't be more descriptive, but it was basically like a small personal site with a white background, had text links centered in the middle of the page, and was updated probably every few days.

Many of the links were just call "Quick thoughts".

If anyone can help direct me to this site, I'd appreciate it.

I ask here because I believe that this is originally how I came across it in the first place (maybe a year ago, or so). Anyhow, I enjoyed reading through it as I did my "rounds" reading different basketball related blogs/sites/etc.

Thanks in advance!

Devin did you lose all your bookmarks in firefox? That can be restored as I have had to do so several times.

Might be ways to do same in other browsers but I am not as clear on if / how.

Yeah, it was in Firefox. This is actually the second time it's happened.

The first time is when I had originally lost this particular link, and I didn't know that I could restore them at the time.

This time, I did figure out how to restore them, but I had already lost it from the time before a while back.

It was while I was restoring them this time that I remember about that site, so in between losing them the first time and now, I haven't visited it as I had forgotten all about it.

Sounds like you are alright now

but (for my windows and firefox version) going to windows folder then application data then mozilla then profiles then the file inside that I see a saved version of my bookmarks daily thru last 2 years I've had Firefox. That can be reposted into bookmarks several ways including import.

Oh, wow, I didn't know about that.

The method that I found for restoring them was only available if you did the restore within 5 days of losing them. Apparently it backed them up everyday, but only kept the 5 most recent days worth.

Thanks for the tip though, I may look into that as I'm sure there are other sites that I'd occasionally visit but have just forgotten about. In fact, just as I'm writing this I remembered another. Smile
