MIT Sloan Sports Business Conference, Part II: The Legend of Curly's Gold! It's coming on Feb 9 and there looks to be an all-star roster of speakers lined up. Due to events beyond my control I missed last year's, but I heard good things about it and I am soooo on it this time. I mean, who doesn't want to hear RC Buford talk on a "Defending the Title" panel? I can safely state that there isn't a single hoops fan who would want to miss that. So sign up for it, and then drop me a line -- maybe we can hook up for a meal and a pint.

The conference will take place on February 9th, 2008 on the MIT Sloan campus in Cambridge, MA, and features keynote speaker Wyc Grousbeck, owner of the Boston Celtics. Take note of the featured panels, including a Bill James panel on The Future of Professional Sports and a "Defending the Title" panel, moderated by EPSN's Peter Gammons with speakers Bill Polian (President, Indianapolis Colts), RC Buford (GM Spurs), Brian Burke (GM, Anaheim Ducks), and Jed Hoyer (Asst. GM, Boston Red Sox).

Register as soon as possible as the conference sold out last year and we expect our limited capacity to fill very quickly. Feel free to email us with any questions and comments about the conference.

Paul G and I will be there again. We both loved last year's conference and are looking forward to the agenda this year.

It would be great if the ABPR folk could get together again this year after the conference. That was one of the best parts.

That's an awesome panel -- I guess RC is coming up for the Celts-Spurs throwdown the next day. Be great to see everyone up there ...

I'll be there, though I won't be able to stick around for dinner this time. I'm definitely looking forward to it though, last year's event was excellent.

Hope to see everyone there,
Aaron
