These photos were taken with a standard camera and scanned in on our old scanner. They were then edited with Photoshop and Neat Image. They did not come out that well; the camera had a strong color cast and poor saturation, and in many situations, the wrong exposure. In bright situations, the contrast was too high-either dark or white, and few midtones.
The Arch in perspective
The Arch at dusk
On a trampoline at the Schermerhorns' old place. I'm in the air, Joseph is on the trampoline with me, and Michael is looking on.
The family in 2002. Quite a while ago.
The crowd from Troy, though the picture was taken near East Berne. Mom took this picture.
Behind the Mallaber's place, on the mountain. Mom took this picture.
The view from Little Round Top, looking towards Devil's Den and the Peach Orchard. Lots of rocks.
The valley of Pickett's Charge. The picture is taken from The Angle, near the high water mark of the Confederacy. The charge was launched near the monument in the distance, nearly half a mile away. Far too open an area for a charge in the era of repeating rifles and artillery concentrations.
