Aaron,

How difficult would it be to track other team stats besides points scored? You'd have to parse the event and not just look at the changing score ... would you consider doing this at some point? It would be awesome to see which lineups did well on the boards, turnovers, 3-point shooting, etc. 82games.com gives a rough idea of this, but it's not very detailed. If you could provide the raw numbers for each lineup, that would be extremely useful.

This is a long term goal, with the emphasis on long term. I do agree with you that differences in other stats can be revealing as well. I hope to do something like this at some point, but for now just maintaining the +/- score data is plenty of work, as I think you can understand.

As far as this year, I've been working hard to start showing 2006-2007 data. I hope to have this up quite soon. I'll post a message when it is.

Sorry for the delay,
Aaron

Hey all, I'm way behind in keeping up with the posts, but in addition to my day job I have been making progress on basketballvalue.com. The data is a little behind where we are in the season, but the website (www.basketballvalue.com) now has 2006-2007 data. At this point I've only processed through November 16th, but I should be back to "real-time" shortly. I also will begin to show some rudimentary adjustments in the not-too-distant future. I look forward to your feedback, feel free to post replies to this message or email me at webmaster@basketballvalue.com .

Thanks,
Aaron
