It was proposed on the APBR Yahoo site (not analysis) to have regional meetings. In particular, NY and DC have set up occasional meetings.

Is there an interest among people here to do so. If so, let's start identifying where there may be clusters of people. I'm in the SF Bay Area, for example.

Given that APBR is not organized and chargine fees like SABR, I don't imagine much beyond casual get-togethers for a while. But I thought I'd raise it...

I'm in Philly and would definitely be interested in any get-togethers on the east coast.

I'm in NYC (surprising I know), and am familiar with many locations (read: bars) in which a meeting could take place.

I'm in the DC area. There's a good restaurant 10 minutes from my house run by a former Bullets player that could serve as a good meeting spot for anyone interested.

Being in Philly, getting to DC or NYC isn't too difficult for me....my school schedule is a little crazy though so it would have to be a Friday or Saturday for me. But I'm fine with either location.

Seattle area (Bellingham). It seems like there should be enough Seattle people to justify a meeting.

Looks like the Gingerman on Wed 2/9 is the date/place for the NYC baseball-thinkfactory/primer meeting. I think we should tag along to this event. There's a possibility another hoops-head will be joining us.

Anyone else interested?

Anybody else here in the Los Angeles/Southern California area? I’d like to prove the stereotype wrong and show there is some intellectualism here.

So, Wednesday Feb 9, from maybe 6ish on, at the Gingerman (36th bet Mad & 5th). Is there a Secret Handshake, do we wear funny hats, or are Primates just sort of obvious?

Not sure what time I will attend. I'm guessing closer to 6:30-7.
