Raps have 7 of the top 10 rebounders in this series, including their PG's.

There's no I in analysys.
I might put together some comparisons for myself later piecing together from your reports. I think it goes to where specific teams fell short on performance and how they spread money between the top guys and bench and who put together the better rotation.
The sum of eWins / games played for the Lakers' big 3 in first round was the highest among the 7 winners complied thru all games with the Hornets and Spurs close behind,
The Jazz's big 3 contributed the smallest eWins (either they have a better bench or a weaker performing big 3 or some of both). Detroit is next.
Among losers the Suns' big 3 averaged the highest, The 76ers are the lowest.
Thanks for the Det-Philly update Mike and the ewin formula recap (I've adjusted some of the writeup below to I believe confirm to your numbers).
Following up on my interest in how much help different teams get from parts of the rotation:
Celtics and Pistons get most per game from their 4th and 5th guys among series winners offsetting / explaining their low marks on top 3. No real surprise.San Antonio by far got the least out of #4 & 5. Again I can easily see that.
Utah by far got most out of 6th to end of bench. Most of the rest are fairly close together getting a fairly small positive from beyond the top 5. However New Orleans was 2nd lowest and Boston was actually negative.
Only one series but another way to view the performances.
