My name is Robbie Allen and I'm the developer behind a new college basketball stats website: http://statsheet.com/ I'm very interested in your feedback. The site has been up only a couple of months and I'm just getting started. I recently added tempo-neutral stats for teams, players, and games and I plan to do more in the coming months (I've about worn the cover off Dean's book).

Here are a few sample links:

Regards,
Robbie Allen (robbie@statsheet.com)

Good job!
I liked the design and coverage. What about expanding it to NBA?

I'm not sure why he would want to expand it to the NBA. B-R.cm has that pretty well covered.

B-r is best for NBA but it has no predictions or game previews. I don't use it for daily purposes.

NBA is definitely on my list. hoopseng has it right. While there would be some overlap, I think of B-R as more reference-oriented than what I'm trying to do with StatSheet.com. If you spend some time on StatSheet.com, I think you'll find quite a few differences. (examples: here, here, here, and here)

Poll motion is very impressive. Possession and efficiency stats will complete things for a perfect hoops website.

Also looking forward to NBA version. Great programming. How long did it take for you to develop these stuff?

Keep up the good work Robbie!

Thanks Statman.

hoopseng: I wrote the first line of code in June 07, but I didn't release the site publicly until October. The Poll Motion page took a couple of days.

Wow, this is fantastic. This has joined kenpom.com as my go-to college basketball reference site.

good job robbie. I agree with DLewin, forget NBA stuff for the moment and become the go to site for college numbers.

The first thing I would want from a site like yours is to get a players accumulated boxscore stats for a selected season. This doesnt seem to be that easy to find. I can see that you have it when you select a players "show stat totals" but it is then grouped in with a load of other numbers and not that usable.

Also, perhaps also display per 40 as well as per game.

holymoly: Does the "Game Stats" tab give you what you want? Here is an example:
http://statsheet.com/mcb/players/wayne-ellington/game_stats

I don't have a row for "totals", but I could easily add that.

Robbie, yes if you added 'total' to that it would be very useful.

holymoly: I just added a Totals row: http://statsheet.com/mcb/players/wayne-ellington/game_stats

I should probably add an Averages row too.

Is there any chance you could add a summary page for player stats, much like the one basketball-reference.com had? What I mean is something you can sort by category (ppg, etc) , but will also show all of the other relevant stats next to it (rpg, apg, etc). A page like this for teams and teamopps would be very useful as well...Just a suggestion, for people who like to play with the stats on their own. As it is, amazing site. Definitely the best source for college basketball I have seen!
