A welcome continuation of in depth study of draft and outcome trends: "Waiting for Manu" by H Allen and P Gearan
http://www.draftexpress.com/viewarticle.php?a=2135

Several mock drafts show 5 international players going in first round or 17% which would be by far the lowest in 6 years. Just an outlier year with weak international / usually strong domestic partly because of new age rule? Or a return to about where you might think it would progress to looking at data up thru 2001? Will take several years to test or declare a new equilibrium but will be interesting to watch. Early 2008 mocks shows 5 internationals in first round right now.

Breakout of domestic/international by perimeter and big might be a revealing next level of detail but which category do the tall shooters go in?
