What exactly does eFG% mean when divided into CLOSE shots, and JUMPERS? How can you have an eFG% for CLOSE shots when all of them are non-three pointers? Isn' the point of eFG% to combine the 3pter and 2pt shot %'s?

right, eFG = FG% if there are no 3's

the reason why we list eFG for all shot types is that there is a column header that applies to all the breakouts we list, so you need to be consistent within the column.
