Palm Beach County, or The Land Of Flawed Elections. But my sister just moved to Seattle, so I may be either there or Boston around the Finals.
Seems to me that any initial meeting should involve watching, or even attending, a basketball game. _________________ The Best Miami Heat Coverage

A reminder about the NYC meeting Wednesday night.
Quote: | So, Wednesday Feb 9, from maybe 6ish on, at the Gingerman (36th bet Mad & 5th). |
I'll be the one drinking a beer.
Maybe I'll wear my Knicks hat as well. |

I'm in Pasadena/LA; there seem to be very few APBRists in So Calif. |

We'll thatt's two of us, three if we go to San Diego or actually try to get together with Chris Long when the Padres are in LA (if he gets to travel a little). I love Pasadena (used to live in Glendale) and maybe we can work something out when the three of us are around. Even with just three of us, we should be able to outdrink the New York group. |

Martin Johnson from the NY Sun (among other papers/magazines/etc) was there. My roomate showed up because he likes beer. Since we were crashing the BBTF meeting, there were at most 7 at one time from 6:30-10:00(?). Enough people came & went so actually attendence was much greater at that time. Next time we won't crash on a baseball meeting in winter, since there was one 20" tv in the whole place.
Almost all of the conversation was basketball. Very enjoyable. Next time we'll find a place with a few tvs & a satellite. |

Let's say everyone has their price. Contact me by email. No need for everyone to see this. Unless of course there are more NYers that would like to join us for an evening of beer & ball. |

Another bay area guy here. I'd certainly be interested in getting together sometime. |
