I still don't know why Gooden doesn't play more. Last night he only went a few minutes, in a loss. _________________ `

Gooden is playing hurt. I can't remember what it involves (calf or ankle?) but he has hobbled allegedly due to this injury. |

The Wiz actually outscored the Cavs in this series; so their eWins add up to more. Lebron was pretty much a one-man show.

Gilbert was also the clear leader of his pack.
Donyell got almost half his series eW in that last game.
'Replacement player' value keeps going up. And for fun, I'm letting the weights 'float' according to their correlation with (pythagorean) wins. (Rather than keep them at their regular-season levels) Currently, blocks are weighted 4.1! Fouls have a positive (.33) weight! With this disclaimer, feel free to discount the 'T' column; though this does determine the eW. _________________ `

Gooden's an interesting case.
His stats always look good, but coaches seem to hate him. Not because of his attitude, they just always seem to effectively call him a moron.
His history is:
Getting traded from Memphis to Orlando for players considered to be far less talented than him.
Getting traded from Orlando to Cleveland for players considered to be far less talented than him.
Cleveland acquiring Marshall and shopping Gooden around the league.
It will be very interesting to see what happens with him in this off-season. I personally don't expect to see him back in Cleveland next year. |

It could have something to do with his poor defense. |
