Last year, over at the other site, someone (Ed?) posted a cool little Excel tool called the Doppleganger machine which allowed you to compare players from different years and give different weights to the statistics. I really enjoyed running numbers through it, but don't have the skills to program something like that myself- any chance that some kind soul would be willing to make one available to the Excel-impaired again this year?

Hey Greg, forgot all about that thing. I have it, and can put it somewhere online, but I haven't updated the stats to include 04-05. Lemme work on it.

Ed-

very cool!
Thanks for posting that last year as well, I really enjoyed tinkering with that...I'm a bit in awe of anyone who can make a program to crunch that many numbers.

I highly recommend it to anyone who likes running player comparisons...always fun to see names come up that you didnt expect in comparisons that might make you look at a current player with a new perspective.
