You are confusing on-court roles with DougStats designations. Was Ron Harper a PG?

Funny you should mention Harp. PG by default, maybe.
Phil Jackson likes tall guards, yes? Probably with such players, he has less defensive shortage at PG.

On Ryan's list, just 26 of 81 PG's are a net positive. 43 are above-avg on offense, but just 16 on D. Apparently when teams use 2 of these players at once, they tend to do pretty badly; on defense, that is.
