Sorry I missed this thread for a few days.
To answer the initial question, the apm numbers I'm reporting on basketballvalue.com don't include the interaction terms. This is something that has been discussed in the past (http://www.82games.com/ilardi2.htm and http://www.82games.com/ilardi1.htm, for instance), but has never bubbled up as the next thing to work on. For now, I'm more interested in resorting the lineups on position and adding offensive and defensive adjusted ratings (I won't call them +/- Gabe ;] ) . Interactions could be something I explore down the line.

PS I agree with Kevin that I think opinions run the gamut. Personally, I think it's an interesting metric to look at, but not the holy grail.
